Women’s Bible Study comes together for several sessions throughout the year. Wether you are a member of Faith Fellowship, or looking for a way to dig deeper into your study of scripture, come and join us!
Spring & Summer 2025
Piggybacking off of our previous study about the Sermon on the Mount, we continue learning about the teachings of Jesus and dive into his parables with John Macarthur’s book.
The workbook is not necessary for our study, but an optional add-on to our discussion of the book.
Dates
This study has 11 sessions. We will meat for 8 sessions weekly Mondays between Feb. 24th - Apr. 14th, and will continue once a month in June/July/August to complete our study.
This study looks different than previous studies and in order to prepare, you will want to have chapter 1 read and look through the questions in the workbook session 1 if you choose to purchase the workbook.
About the Study
Jesus was a master storyteller, and the parables he often told were no exception. Beneath these unassuming stories were deeply profound spiritual lessons that were designed to reach all who heard them--from the faithful to the faithless--and they're still relevant today.
In Parables, MacArthur argues that these short, memorable stories represented more than just symbolism or a clever teaching style--they were carefully crafted tales that made the mysteries of the Gospel more accessible to everyday believers.
